City Council Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday’s of every month, except July and August. The July meeting will be July 16th and the August meeting will be August 13th.

Parks, Recreation & Cemetery Board meet the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am at City Hall.

Planning & Zoning Commission meet the second Thursday of each month at 5:30pm at City Hall.

Design Review/Historical Preservation Committee meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at City Hall.

Planning & Zoning Commission will hold 3 public hearings on July 10, 2025.

1. The first one is a request for an adjustment to Canfield Codified Ordinance Section 1123.01 for an addition to a garage at 30 Montgomery Court that will make the garage 73% of the first floor rather than the required 35% of the first floor. Zoned R-1. This will be held on July 10, 2025 at 5:00pm in council chambers.

2. Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on July 10, 2025 at 5:10pm in council chambers. This is a request for an adjustment to Canfield Codified Ordinance Section 1141.04 for a front porch addition to a home at 51 Fairview Ave that will make the home 4ft closer than it currently is. The setback is 50ft and the house currently is only 40ft and with the new porch addition it will be 36ft. Zoned R-3.

3. The Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing for an adjustment to Canfield Codified Ordinance Section 1183.03(i)(2) to allow an Electronic Changeable Copy Sign at 111 S. Broad Street. Odd Fellow Lodge 155. Zoned B-1. This will be set for July 10, 2025 at 5:20pm, in Council Chambers.

The Millennial Moments JEDD Board will hold their quarterly meeting on July 24, 2025 at 9:00am in council chambers, 104 Lisbon Street, Canfield, Ohio.

The Canfield Records Commission will hold their semi-annual meeting on July 29, 2025 at 9:00am at 104 Lisbon Street, Canfield, Ohio.
