Parks, Recreation & Cemetery Board meet the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am at City Hall.

The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Canfield will conduct five (5) Public Hearings on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The first one starts @5:00 P.M. at 104 Lisbon Street, Canfield, Ohio 44406. The purpose of this Public Hearing: A request for a variance to Canfield Codified Ordinance Section 1141.02 at 141 Oak Tree Drive that would allow their enclosed porch addition to be 42 ft. off the back lot line which is 8 ft closer than the required rear yard setback of 50 ft. Zoned R-1. The second public hearing starts at 5:05 P.M.: A request for a variance to Canfield Codified Ordinance Section 1141.11 at 51 Talsman that would allow the office building to be 4,022 sq. ft which is 22sq ft more than the required 4,000 sq. ft. Zoned R-0. The third public hearing starts at 5:10 P.M.: A request for a variance to Canfield Codified Ordinance 1183.03(A3) at 587 E. Main that would allow DQ to have 163.85 sq ft. of signage (this includes the signage on the building and monument sign out front) which is 63.85 sq. ft more than the allowable 100 sq. ft. Zoned B-3. The Fourth Public Hearing starts at 5:15 P.M: A request for a variance to Canfield Codified Ordinance Section 1141.02 at the parcel number 28-036-0-021.02-0 (tentatively going to be 163 Lake Wobegon Dr) that would allow the new home build to be 39 ft off the back of the property which is 1st. closer than the required 40 ft. for that area in Stonebridge. Zoned R-1. The fifth public hearing starts at 5:20 P.M.: A request for a conditional use at 530 W. Main for outdoor storage by Ken Cerimeli. Zoned B-2.
