GROUNDS & PUBLIC PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
The City of Canfield Public Works Department is responsible for all public grounds maintenance within the City limits. This includes Greasel Park, Fair Park, City Cemeteries, and the Village Green. the City of Canfield also maintains designated Rights-of-Way throughout the City of Canfield.
The focus of grounds maintenance is to keep public properties neat and presentable. Mowing, trimming and landscaping duties in all public spaces in the City of Canfield are performed by the Public Works Department. Most of the work is done during the spring and summer months and sometimes overlaps with our Fall Leaf Pickup and Spring Brush Pickup Activities.
