Information Regarding the City of Canfield’s Natural Gas Aggregation Program
Pricing has been set at a variable rate of NYMEX times the applicable BTU conversion plus $0.149/Ccf for October 2022 to March 2023 gas flow. From April 2023 to September 2025the rate will be fixed at $.747/Ccf. Customers not currently served by a supplier will receive a letter later in September from IGS Energy and do not need to take any action to participate in the Aggregation. Columbia Gas will also send a confirmation letter notifying residents of the switch in natural gas supplier and will remain the local utility service provider and continue billing. Residents that do not receive a letter or who have questions can call IGS Energy at 877-353-0162. They can also call Buckeye Energy Brokers at 866-302-2237 with questions. There is no cost for enrollment or early termination.
